• During training, both OCES Trainee Scientific Officers and DGFS Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₹74,000. OCES trainees will also get a one-time book allowance of ₹30,000. DGFS Fellows will receive reimbursement of tuition fees, contingency grants, and project-related funding as prescribed.

• After the appointment, candidates will be placed as Scientific Officer in Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with a basic pay of ₹56,100. With allowances and increments, the total monthly emoluments at joining may reach approximately ₹1.35 lakh, depending on the place of posting.

• Verify Contact Details : Enter basic details (name, email, mobile, discipline) to receive an OTP and activation link to verify your contact information.
• Login and Fill Form : Log in with the credentials provided to fill out the detailed application form, including personal, academic (SSC/HSC/Degree), and professional details.
• Choose Screening Method : Select either the GATE 2024/2025 score channel, the online examination channel (March 2026), or both to maximize chances.
• Upload Documents : Upload a recent passport-sized photo (4.5x3.5 cm, 20-50 kb) and signature (2x4.5 cm, 10-20 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
• Application Fee : Pay the non-refundable fee of ₹500 via Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
• Final Submission : Review all entered data carefully, submit the form, and print/save the confirmation page for future reference.

Selection Process

• Stage 1 : Screening (Shortlisting)
  • Online Exam : A computer-based test (CBT) covering technical knowledge of the chosen discipline.
  • GATE Score : Valid GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026 scores.
  • Note : Candidates can apply through both modes to increase their chances.
• Stage 2 : Selection Interview
  • Shortlisted candidates attend interviews in Mumbai or Hyderabad, scheduled from May 12 to June 12, 2026.
  • The interview focuses on in-depth technical knowledge and concepts.
• Final Selection : Based on the interview performance. Selected candidates are appointed as Scientific Officers (Level 10).
